|1 stick||butter, softened,equals 1/2 cup.|
|1 c||sugar: half granulated cane sugar and light brown sugar.|

DirectionsPreheat oven to 350 degrees; grease and flour a 9 X 5 loaf pan.Cream butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time and beat. Alternately, add buttermilik and flour. Stir in salt, orange zest and raisins and pecans.Place batter in loaf pan and bake one hour.
Remove from the oven and poke holes in the bread.While bread is baking combine the topping ingredients and stir until sugar is completely dissolved.
Pour over the bread while it is hot out of the oven.
