MY MOM'S BANANA BREAD

This recipe has been in my family for as long as I can remember. My mother, who is watching me from heaven, made this frequently when I was growing up. It is simple and very moist.

Ingredients

2 or 3
bananas, the riper the better
1 c
sugar
3 Tbsp
margarine, melted
1
egg, lightly beaten
1 c
sour milk (add 1 tbsp lemon juice to 1 cup milk)
1 tsp
baking soda
2 1/2 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
vanilla

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray 2 loaf pans with cooking spray.
2Mash bananas well (I use my potato masher)add sugar and mix well. Add remaining ingredients and mix to combine well.
3Divide mixture evenly between loaf pans. Bake for 1 hour until done when tested with toothpick.
