Ingredients

1/2 c butter, softened
1 1/3 c sugar
2 eggs
2 Tbsp milk
1/4 c sour cream
1 tsp almond extract
2 c plain flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp soda
3 Tbsp orange juice
1/4 tsp salt
1 c mashed bananas
1 1/2 c chopped nuts

Janice's Notes:

I had a recipe and I just could not find it to do this bread. I always used orange juice in it so this is what I came up with and I honestly believe it is so much better than my old one.

 

Directions

Grease a large loaf pan and set aside. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mash bananas set aside. In a large mixing bowl mix together all the dry ingredients, add milk, eggs, sour cream, orange juice. Mix well. Add almond extract and bananas. Mix this well. Lastly add nuts.

Pour the mixture into the greased loaf pan. Bake on 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
