Ingredients

YOU MAY USE ANY FRUIT THAT YOU LIKE, I HAVE USED FRESH PLUMS AND BERRIES, THEY ARE ALL JUST AS GOOD

4 slice
french bread
2 large
eggs
1 dash(es)
milk
6 slice
bacon
1 dash(es)
cinnamon
1 tsp
vanilla
1/4 stick
butter
2 large
apples
1/2-3/4 c
sugar

Step-By-Step

1First fry your bacon however you prefer it, set aside, keep warm. Save bacon grease
2Mix egg, milk, vanilla, cinnamon together well. Cut french bread thick 1 inch -2 inches, dip into egg mixture, the thicker the bread the longer you soak it. Fry in the bacon grease, add a little margarine if not enough bacon grease.
3While french toast is cooking put the butter into a frying pan, slice apples as if for apple pie, start frying on low to medium heat until tender, add sugar, stir until it melts and looks golden.
4Place French toast onto plate , Pour over a couple spoonfuls of the apple sauce, however much you want, place bacon beside it and serve.
