    (15.25 ounces) german chocolate cake mix, dry
  • 3
    eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/3 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1 c
    mashed bananas
  • 1/2 c
    chopped pecans, plus more for topping
  • 1/4cu c
    shredded coconut, plus more for topping

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a loaf pan and set aside.

    In a large bowl mix together all the ingredients until combined and a batter forms. Pour the batter into prepared pan. Top with additional pecans and/or coconut if desired.

    Bake the bread for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow the bread to cool for 10 minutes and then remove from the pan and allow to completely cool.
