Crazy Good Cinnamon Rolls/Dinner Rolls

This is a dinner roll recipe but can be made into a wonderful, perfect cinnamon roll. Had these for Christmas and I couldn't get enough!

pinch tips: How to Brown Chicken


1 pkg
active dry yeast
1 c
hot water
3 Tbsp
6 Tbsp
1 tsp
3 c
cinnamon (for cinnamon roll)
sugar (for cinnamon roll)
butter (for cinnamon roll)
brown sugar (for cinnamon roll)

Directions Step-By-Step

Add flour first and bury your yeast in the flour. Then add sugar and salt. Don't mix together!
Add oil and lastly add the hot water. Mix together. Dough will be sticky so use oil to work through your hands better. Do NOT add extra flour.
Cover with towel and allow to rise until doubled in size. Punch it down and allow to rise a second time until doubled in size.
IF YOU ARE MAKING DINNER ROLLS, break off into balls and place in a well greased pan and bake @400 for 20 minutes.
IF YOU ARE MAKING CINNAMON ROLLS, roll out on flour surface. Mix together cinnamon and brown sugar in a bowl. Spread butter over dough, then sprinkle with cinnamon/brown sugar mix.
Roll and cut into buns and bake on well greased sheet @350 for about a half an hour.

Not near as much. I mean you have to work it some but not goin crazy about it.

These looks really good, making my mouth water. Nothing like a warm fresh cinnamon roll. Nice that you can use this dough to make dinner rolls also.Looks like a very easy recipe.

What measure of cinnamon, brown sugar and butter did you use? My German grandmother used to bake fresh cinnamon rolls in the morning. I'm looking forward to making these for my grandchildren.

My mom made a sweet dough that made awesome dinner rolls. She'd also make sweet rolls out of it, too!

This DOES NOT make me want to make this! The directions are TOO confusing! Do you make this first part in a bowl OR on a wood Cutting board?? The directions need to be in more detail!!
I've been baking/cooking since I was 5 or 6,and have a grasp on the making of Rolls/cinnamon rolls. Enlighten me please1

Roll and cut into buns ? How wide does the dough get rolled? How many inches do you do you start the first cut ofthe first Cinnamon Roll? Too many unanswered questions!
