Combine eggs and cranberry sauce. Stir in dry cake mix. (I like the yellow cake mix to get more of the cranberry flavor, but the spice cake mix is good too.) Beat 3 minutes on medium speed. Stir in nuts if used.
Pour into two 8x4x4 greased loaf pans. Bake at 350° for 45 to 55 minutes or until the top springs back when lightly touched with your fingertips.
Cool in the pans for 10 minutes. Turn out and finish cooling on racks.
Store leftovers in the refrigerated wrapped in plastic wrap. May also be frozen.
