Cinnamon Roll Cake

I found this on Pintrest from 6 sisters and made it my own by making it with self rising flour and omitting the baking powder. It makes such a big cake that by cutting it in half, it is best for us as empty nesters.

Ingredients

3 c
flour
1/4 tsp
salt
1 c
sugar
1 1/2 c
milk
2
eggs
2 tsp
vanilla extract
4 Tbsp
butter, melted

FILLING

2 stick
butter, softened
1 c
brown sugar, lightly packed
2 Tbsp
flour
1 Tbsp
cinnamon
2/3 c
pecans, in pieces

GLAZE

2 c
powdered sugar
5 Tbsp
milk
1 tsp
vanilla extract

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix together flour, sugar, salt, milk, eggs, and vanilla. Once it is mixed well, slowly stir in 4 T of melted butter. Pour batter into greased 9 x 13 pan.

In large bowl mix the softened butter, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and pecans until well combined. Drop by spoonfuls over cake batter. Use a knife to swirl into cake batter. Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until tooth pick comes out clean.

Mix together powdered sugar, milk and vanilla extract in a medium bowl with a whisk. Drizzle over warm cake. Serve warm and is good at room temp.
