These are such a light sweet dessert that is always a big hit. I didn't specify how big to cut the beignets because it is totally up to you how big you want them. I like to do them about bite size.

1/4 cmilk

1/4 cansugar

1/4 Tbspsalt

1/4 cflour

1/4 Tbspbaking powder

1/2 Tbspvegetable oil
How To Make beignets

1Mix egg, milk, sugar, and vegetable oil in a bowl. Sift together salt, flour, and baking powder; add to egg mixture.

2Mix, adding enough flour to make a soft dough. Turn out onto a lightly floured, clean work surface; roll out and cut.

3Place into deep hot oil heated to 360*, fry until fluffy (turning only once). Top with powdered sugar.
