My stepdaudhter had baked this bread and I had some and it was so good and moist, that I had to have her recipe.I make it all the time for home & church.Everyone just loves it.I have made it for bake sales and it is the frist thing that sales.

Ingredients For banana nut bread

11/2 cupswhite sugar

1/2 cupshortening
-
2eggs
-
1/2 cupsour cream
-
1 tsp.vanilla extract

2 cupsall purpose flour
-
1 tsp.soda
-
1/4 tsp.salt
-
4ripe bananas
-
3/4 cupwalnut pieces (optional)
How To Make banana nut bread

1Cream together eggs,sugar,shortening.

2Add in sour cream, vanilla,and bananas.

3Mix in separate bowl flour, salt and soda.Combine together.

4Then stir in walnuts.(optional)

52 bread loaf pans grease and flour well, before putting in mixture.Divide in each pan.

6Bake at 350 for 40 or 45 minutes. Check with a toothpick,to see if it is done in middle.
