My Mom's recipe from when I was a kid. The smell of it baking fills up the whole house, and takes me back to being 10-years old. I love that food can hold such strong memories.

Ingredients

2 1/2 c
all purpose flour
1 c
sugar
3 1/2 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
salt
3 Tbsp
vegetable oil
3/4 c
milk
1 large
egg
1 tsp
pumpkin pie spice
3 large
very ripe bananas

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350. Grease & flour 9x5x3-in loaf pan or two 8.5x4.5x2.5 loaf pans.

Measure all ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Beat on medium speed for 1-2 minutes, scraping side and bottom of bowl constantly.

Pour into pan(s). Bake 50-60 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. After it has sat for a few minutes, remove the loaf from the pan and cool completely before slicing.
