Easy and delicious!

This recipe reminds me of my mom. She baked this all the time for us when we were kids. It's an oldie, but still a goodie!

Ingredients

1 1/2 c
chunky applesauce
1 c
sugar
1/2 c
oil
2
eggs
3 Tbsp
milk
2 c
flour
1 tsp
baking soda
1/2 tsp
baking powder
1/4 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
allspice
1/2 tsp
cinnamon
1/2 tsp
nutmeg
1/2 c
walnuts, chopped

TOPPING

1/4 c
walnuts, chopped
1/4 c
brown sugar
1/2 tsp
cinnamon

Step-By-Step

1Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Grease your 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.
2Combine applesauce, sugar, oil, eggs and milk.
3In another bowl, combine flour, soda, baking powder, salt and spices.
4Add the dry ingredients to the applesauce mixture.
Beat well, then fold in walnuts.
5Pour into prepared loaf pan.
6Combine the topping ingredients.
Sprinkle evenly on top of mixture in the loaf pan.
7Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool for 10 minutes, then remove from pan, and cool completely on rack.
8Enjoy!
