1 c+ 2 tbsp all purpose flour

1/2 tspbaking powder

1/4 tspcream of tartar

1/2 tspsalt

1/8 tspbaking soda
-
1/4 cdry milk powder
-
1/3 cvegetable shortening
-
1/8 csugar
-
1 Tbsponion flakes, dehydrated

1 x lgegg, beaten
-
1/4 cmilk
-
1/4 cwhite wine or red wine

1/2 tsporegano, dried
-
1/4 cparmesan cheese
How To Make wine & cheese bread

1Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

2Sift together flour, baking powder, cream of tartar, salt, soda & dry milk. Cut in shortening until the mixture resembles coarse meal. Add sugar, minced onion, egg, milk, wine & oregano. Mix thoroughly.

3Spread mixture in a greased 8" or 9" round pan & sprinkle with cheese.

4Bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
