1 1/2 cyellow cornmeal

1/2 call purpose flour

6 Tbspsugar

2 tspbaking powder

1 tspsalt

1/2 tspbaking soda

2eggs
-
1 cbuttermilk
-
1/4 colive oil

3jalapeno peppers, seeded and finely chopped
How To Make jalapeno corn bread

1In a bowl,combine the first six ingredients. In another bowl,whisk the eggs,buttermilk and oil.

2Add to the dry ingredients and stir just until moistened. Stir in jalapenos.Pour into a greased 9" square baking pan.

3Bake at 400 degrees for 20-22 min. or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cut into squares. Serve warm.
