Ingredients

1 lb cheddar cheese shredded
1 lb monterey jack cheese shredded
1 lb sharp cheddar shredded
12 oz sliced jalapenos drained (i get the tamed ones at walmart)
1 can(s) evaporated milk (12 oz.)
1 c self rising flour
2 eggs

When i make these they are gone in no time. They are great with chili, soups or just to snack on.

 

Directions

Combine all shredded cheeses in a large bowl. Place half of the cheeses in a sprayed 13x9 pan. Layer jalapenos over cheese mixture and then top with remaining cheeses. Beat flour, eggs and evaporated milk til smooth. Spread over cheese mixture. Bake for 40-45 minutes. Let cool for about 20 minutes before cutting.

For variations I have added minced onion,crumbled bacon or ham.

Big or small can evaporated milk? These sound good!

Sorry about that. A big can, 12oz. And yes they are very good. let me know what ya think.

These will surely send one's cholesterol through the roof!!! But boy wouldn't you die happy!!!!! Thanks Nancy!!! I always have more j. peppers than I can handle and I found out last year, J. peppers do not freeze well!!! I did make several J.P. rope. I'm going to try to make pepper jelly and can which both are new to me, so I might yelling for some help..
