How To Make fresh strawberry muffin bread

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in shortening, and mix well.

2In a small bowl, whisk eggs and milk together. Fold into flour mixture. Fold in strawberries. Pour batter into greased loaf pan. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a knife comes out clean when inserted with a knife. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before slicing. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days
