Favorite Paprika Onion Bread (Machine)

On cool rainy days that tend to keep one inside the house, we love to back bread in our bread machine. This one is a favorite tried and true in my household. Hope you enjoy!

1 loaf

Ingredients

1 c
water - (70-80 degrees)
2 Tbsp
of butter or margerine, softened
1/3 c
finely chopped onion
1 tsp
sugar
1 1/2 tsp
salt
1 tsp
paprika
3 c
bread flour (i usually use all purpose flour)
1 pkg
active dry yeast (1/4 oz)

Step-By-Step

1In bread macine, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer.

2Select basic bread setting. Choose crust color and loaf size if available.

3Bake according to bread machine directions. (Check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water or flour if needed.)

4Yields 1 loaf. (1 1/2 lbs.) Enjoy, this is one of my family's favorites.
