Favorite Garlic Yeast Bread (Machine)

If today is one of those days that the smell of homemade bread baking would be a welcoming comfort to you and your family, then try making our Favorite Garlic Yeast Bread. My family loves this bread as I am sure yours will too.

pinch tips: How to Knead Dough



1 loaf


2/3 c
water (70 to 80 degrees)
2 tsp
butter or margarine, softened
1 clove
of garlic, minced
2 c
bread flour (i also use all purpose flour)
1 Tbsp
1 tsp
1/4 tsp
dried rosemary crushed
1/8 tsp
dried thyme
1/8 tsp
dried basil
1 3/4 tsp
active dry yeast

Directions Step-By-Step

In bread machine, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select basic bread setting.
Choose crust color and loaf size if available. Bake according to bread machine. (Check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 Tablespoons of water or flour IF needed.)
Yields 1 loaf.
