This is a moist bread that is slightly sweet and loaded with lovely crispy bits of BACON!

Ingredients

6 slice
bacon, cut into small pieces (i use thick cut bacon)
2 c
all purpose flour
1/4 c
granulated sugar
1 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
baking soda
2
eggs, beaten
1/3 c
milk
1 c
sour cream

Step-By-Step

1Preheat your oven to 350F. Grease or Spray an 8 1/2x 4 1/2 loaf pan (I use glass) and set aside. Cut up your 6 slices of bacon into small squares and fry bacon in a pan until crispy. Drain
2Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda in a medium bowl set aside.
3Combine eggs, milk, and sour cream with a whisk in a small bowl. Stir until well mixed.
4Pour the egg mixture all at once into the flour mixture. Stir until just moistened. Fold bacon into dough. Turn into a greased loaf pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until center of bread tests done with a tester. Cool 10 minutes. Enjoy!
