Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter (or margarine) softened
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 small bottle alegar (cane) syrup
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

How To Make syrup cake

  • Step 1
    Cream butter and sugar. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into a baking pan and bake at 350 F for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
