Preheat oven to 350*

Mix together Jiffy corn bread mix and Jiffy cake batter mix as directed on box. (Can mix in same bowl)

Place in preheated oven for 30 minutes.

Let cool for 10 minutes. Put onto plate, slice, and then enjoy:)

Wow! I have been looking for something like this for some time. I can bake anything .But my cornbread was just not what I thought it should be. The harder I tried the worse it got. Now I am happy!

Why do you add the cake mix?

Hi Tracy, I've been checking back every now and again but no answer, which is pretty unusual this site. So looks like its just us. What do you think? White or yellow cake mix?

Sorry ladies I am in the process of building a house so living with my parents and one laptop between us all isn't no fun... LOL I used the box of Jiffy Cake Mix cause I was making cornbread one day and thought I had more boxes but all I had was the cake mix so I just added it to see what would happen and this is what I got :) and the family LOVED it. It gives it a sweet taste and was fluffy....
