I love 'Stuffed Bread'!

My favorite type of recipe lies within--so many optionals..do it your way and enjoy, right? As for me, I don't leave anything out!! :)

Ingredients

1 pkg
pillsbury hot roll mix
1
egg (for roll mix)
1 large
onion, chopped
1/2 lb
sausage or ground beef, cooked
1/2 lb
mozzarella cheese, shredded
salt and pepper, to taste
1 c
raw spinach, shredded (optional)
1 c
mushrooms, sliced and cooked (optional)
romano or parmesan cheese (optional)

Step-By-Step

1Make hot roll mix according to directions.

(It is not necessary to let dough rise.)

Roll dough into large 10x15 inch rectangle.
2Roll dough into large 10x15 inch rectangle

Sprinkle rest of desired ingredients on dough.
3Roll up tightly, jelly roll fashion. Seal ends.

Brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if you like.
4Bake at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes until bubbly.

Freezes well. Cut in slices before freezing. Heat in foil.
