MOM'S IRISH SODA BREAD
Sift dry ingredients in a large bowl, not metal. Cut in butter and rub into flour untl mixture resembles bread crumbs. Make a well in center and pour eggs and buttermilk. Using clean hand mix thorougly to make a soft dough. Turn onto flour board and knead 1-2 mins. Shape into round load and place onto a greased floured bakng sheet. Mark an X on top of the loaf to allow even cooking. Bake 45 mins or until golden brown. Tap on bottem of bread if sounds hallow it is done.
