Cut each half of buns into 3 equal strips lengthwise. Dip strips in melted butter and lay on cookie sheet. Sprinkle with garlic salt and the parmasan cheese. Bake 350 for 15 to 20 minutes or until slightly browned. Use more or less time depending on whether you want a soft texture or crisp texture. Remove from oven and drain on paper towels. These freeze well. Place separately on cookie sheet in freezer until frozen and then bag in ziplocks.
Note: If you like a lot of garlic flavor add some garlic powder, approximately 1/2 teaspoon (or more) for the whole package, into the butter and mix well but still lightly sprinkle garlic salt on top.
