1Heat milk and butter in microwave for 2 min. Add in one egg at room temp. Pour into bread pan. Sift flour into a bowl, add salt and sugar, pour into bread pan. Make a small indention on top of flour and add yeast.
2Run on DOUGH cycle. Once dough has mixed, rested, and risen, punch down. Let sit for 10 min.
3Bring dough out onto lightly floured surface, cut into 12-18 pcs., depending on how big or how many rolls you desire. Place in 11x13 baking pan sprayed with spray oil. Brush with butter or olive oil. Let rest till doubled in size. Bake 375° for 15 min.
4If making whole wheat rolls, use 2 c. of all purpose flour, and 1 1/4 c. of wheat flour. All other ingredients are the same, follow the same steps as the regular dinner rolls.
