This isn't a major recipe but I discovered it tonight while I just wanted something quick and warm.

Ingredients For cheesy pesto toast

  • 1 slice
    sourdough bread
  • 1 oz
    grated co-jack cheese
  • 1 oz
    pesto with basil

How To Make cheesy pesto toast

    In a toaster oven, sprinkle some shredded cheese on a slice of bread. I love sourdough but you can use any kind.

    When it's toasted, spread some Pesto with Basil on top.

    Variations on a theme: Put a couple slices of turkey lunch meat on before the cheese. Or some Brachuto with Italian cream cheese. This would go great with soup, too!!
