Sweet Heart Buttermilk Corn Bread

1 box	jiffy corn muffin mix
1 box	jiffy white cake mix
1/2 c	buttermilk
1/3 c	whole milk
2 large	eggs

Janet's Notes:

This is so easy and if you run out of corn meal you really need to try this.
They are so delicious! Light, doesn't fall apart and great for scooping up your beans!
I'm not about a box person, but this one I am for sure!

Directions

Purchase the two box mixes

Empty both in a medium size bowl and blend

Add your buttermilk, milk and eggs, mix well.

let rest for about 5 minutes.

Pour spoonful's in your waffle maker. Cook as directed. My sweet heart waffle maker cheeps when finished.

You can also pour into a prepared (cooking spray) pyrex dish.
Bake this at 350 degrees until lightly browned and toothpick comes out clean.
Muffins pans are also a option.

This is nice sounding recipe Janet.. I think I will use a regular cake mix and 2 c. cornmeal and 1 cup buttermilk and 2/3 c regular milk 3 lg. eggs and a dash of nutmeg and make up a bunch to eat and put the rest in the freezer. hope it works. thanks for sharing. Happy New Year!

Let me know, not sure what is in the Jiffy corn meal mix.... All I can say is this combo is terrific! Especially when these little boxes are so cheap. :)
