This is so easy and if you run out of corn meal you really need to try this. They are so delicious! Light, doesn't fall apart and great for scooping up your beans! I'm not about a box person, but this one I am for sure! ENJOY!

Ingredients For sweet heart buttermilk corn bread

  • 1 box
    jiffy corn muffin mix
  • 1 box
    jiffy white cake mix
  • 1/2 c
    buttermilk
  • 1/3 c
    whole milk
  • 2 lg
    eggs

How To Make sweet heart buttermilk corn bread

    Purchase the two box mixes
  • 2
    Empty both in a medium size bowl and blend
  • 3
    Add your buttermilk, milk and eggs, mix well.

    let rest for about 5 minutes. Pour spoonful's in your waffle maker. Cook as directed. My sweet heart waffle maker cheeps when finished. You can also pour into a prepared (cooking spray) pyrex dish. Bake this at 350 degrees until lightly browned and toothpick comes out clean. Muffins pans are also a option. ENJOY!
