Sausage egg & cheese on an English muffin

My husband Brett lives for breakfast, so I am always trying to find new ideas for breakfast. Eggs over easy are a favorite around here and sandwiches are quick and convenient. Why not combine the two! I give you sausage egg and cheese on an English muffin. Making these was a lot of fun, and I love the way they look when they are done. Adorable

Ingredients

eggs
1/2 lb
spicy sausage

cheese slices
4
english muffins, or biscuits
1 Tbsp
butter

Directions Step-By-Step

Take about a 1/4 C sausage and roll into a ball, repeat with the other 3

Smash ball into a flat patty, and hollow out the center ( Try to make your patties a little bigger then your english muffin. They shrink when they cook)

Place sausage rings into skillet and heat on low

Crack an egg into the center of each sausage ring, cook 2-3 each side

Toast english muffin and butter it

Place sausage ring on bottom of english muffin, top with cheese and top muffin
