When my nana passed away many years ago I aquired several of her cookbooks. One was an old A&P cookbook, 1975 and several of the recipes were circled and I've tried them all. These muffins are absolutly delicious!

Ingredients For rich blueberry muffins

  • 1 1/2 c
    flour
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 6 Tbsp
    butter melted
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 1/2 c
    blueberries, fresh or dry frozen

How To Make rich blueberry muffins

  • 1
    Toss flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon to mix. Beat egg with melted butter and milk. Add to flour, stir until smooth. Fold in blueberries. Bake in greased muffin cups in hot oven (400) degrees about 25 minutes, until muffins are well browned.
