I made these last week, from a recipe just like this from my TOH recipe book from 2000. They turned out absolutely delicious and everyone loved them. We had some unexpected company come just as we were finishing breakfast, and I had doubled the recipe (I usually do so that we can freeze any extras)so we offered them to our guests. They just were beside themselves! Wouldn't leave without the recipe!
