I have been making this wonderful cornbread for a few years now and its always a hit. I even have it as a late night snack with a cold glass of milk from time to time.

Ingredients For corn bread

3/4 cyellow cornmeal
-
1 call purpose flour
-
1/3 csugar
-
1 Tbspbaking powder
-
1 tspsalt
-
1 cmilk or buttermilk

1 lgegg
-
2 Tbspbutter, melted

1/2-1 ccracklins, roughtly chopped, opt.
How To Make corn bread

1In a large bowl mix together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix in milk, egg and butter.

2Pour into a small greased sheet pan. Bake at 425 degreese until golden brown.

3I often bake mine in a small cast iron pan.
