Ingredients
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter ( or margarine ) softened
- 1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup miniature semi sweet chocolate chips
How To Make chocolate chip banana muffins

Step 1Heat oven to 350 F. In large mixing bowl combine sugar and butter. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until mixture is creamy, ( 1 to 2 minutes )

Step 2Add bananas, eggs and vanilla. Continue beating, scraping bowl often, until well mixed ( 1 to 2 minutes ).

Step 3In medium bowl stir together flours, baking soda and salt. Add flour mixture to banana mixture; stir just until moistened.

Step 4Fold in chocolate chips. Spoon into greased muffin pans. Bake for 18 to 25 minutes; or until light golden brown. Cool 5 minutes; remove from pans
