Ingredients

6 slice
thick cut bacon
2 c
all-purpose flour or unbleached all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp
white sugar
2 tsp
baking powder
1/4 tsp
salt
1 1/4 tsp
garlic powder
4 tsp
dried chives
1/3 c
grated parmesan cheese
1 c
shredded 2% mild cheddar cheese
1 large
egg, beaten
1/2 c
1% or 2% milk
1/2 c
light sour cream
1/3 c
vegetable oil

Step-By-Step

1Fry, bake, or microwave bacon, until evenly brown. Drain, crumble, and set aside. Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease muffin pan.
2In a large mixing bowl, combine first 9 ingredients (including bacon).
3In another bowl, combine last 4 items. Mix the wet mixture, into dry ingredients, and stir, until just moistened.
4Spoon batter into prepared muffin pan, and bake 20 minutes, or until tests clean, with a toothpick. Makes 12 muffins.
