My family really loves this banana bread. When we make it we make several loafs at a time and freeze them for later.

Ingredients

1/2 c
butter
2
eggs
3 large
very ripe bananas
1 1/2 Tbsp
sour cream or buttermilk
1 tsp
lemon juice, fresh
1 c
sugar
2 c
flour
1/2 tsp
baking soda
1 1/2 tsp
baking powder
1 c
walnut halves

Step-By-Step

1Place butter, eggs, bananas, sour cream (or buttermilk) and lemon juice in blender or work bowl or food processor. Whirl until smooth.
2Add to work bowl: sugar, flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Stirring until just moist.
3Add nuts stirring until evenly distributed.
4Pour into greased loaf pan.
5Bake in 350 degree oven 60 to 70 minutes or until skewer inserted comes out clean.
6Enjoy!
