Ingredients For peanut honey bread

  • 2 c
    all-purpose flour or unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    chunky peanut butter
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 1/4 c
    100% pure honey, made in america
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter or margarine
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1/2 to 1 c
    chopped honey-roasted peanuts

How To Make peanut honey bread

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease well, a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.

    Mix flour, baking powder, and salt together. Using a pastry blender or mixer, cut in the peanut butter. Beat egg lightly, and melt the butter. Mix egg, butter, honey, and milk together; stir into first mixture.

    Fold in the chopped peanuts. Pour into the prepared pan. Bake for about an hour, or until cake tester comes out clean. Cool in pan for 5 minutes, then put out onto a cooling rack. Allow to cool completely, before cutting.
