I love making bread and this is a family favorite. This recipe makes 3 loaves.

Ingredients For buttermilk chocolate pecan bread

3 cups self rising flour

1 cup hershey's unsweetened baking cocoa

1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

2 sticks butter, softened

3 1/2 cups sugar

4 eggs

2 cups buttermilk

1 cup chopped pecans
How To Make buttermilk chocolate pecan bread

1In mixing bowl cream butter and sugar until smooth, add eggs and buttermilk and mix on low until smooth.

2In a larger bowl, combine flour, cocoa, cinnamon and pour in buttermilk mixture. Mix on medium speed well and stir in pecans.

3Pour batter into 3 greased 9x5 loaf pans and bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes. Test with a toothpick.
