I fell in love with Monte Christo sandwiches over 15 years ago, but they are so much work.

This is super easy and can be varied with Ham and Cheddar as well. Enjoy!
I serve it with Whipped Cream Cheese or Sour Cream and Jelly ( I prefer a spicy jelly)
My daughter and I love making these together!

Notes from the Test Kitchen:
I used turkey in this roll-up. And I also used sweet chili to dip it in ... it was very good! You can cut these into bite size pieces and would make a wonderful appetizer at your next party.

Ingredients

16 slice
fresh white bread, crust cut off
10 slice
swiss cheese
10 slice
turkey
4
eggs
1/8 c
milk
salt
pepper

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Take your White Bread, cut off the crust. Set aside.
Wisk Eggs and Milk together and season with salt and pepper. Set aside
Chop the Turkey/Ham in small pieces.
Break the Cheese into 3/4th pieces and set the smaller pieces aside, as you can make 3 smaller pieces into one for another sandwich.
2
Place 3/4 of a Slice of Swiss Cheese and some Chopped Turkey /Ham on top. Keep to the middle. Salt and Pepper as desired.
3
Roll up and dip into the Egg Mixture. Place in pre heated frying pan. Put it SEAM DOWN first and wait till the egg mixture firms at the seam. Then Fry from all sides. I normally flip 3 times.
Wait till golden brown. Let it sit for one minute before serving.
4
Serve with sour cream and Jelly ( I use Habanero Jelly) and enjoy!
