Scald mild ;add salt,shortening and molasses;cool to lukewarm
Add to cracked wheat
Dissolve yeast in 1/2 c warm water
Add to cracked wheat mixture
Begin adding flour to make a stiff but plyable dough.
Let rise until double in bulk
Divide dough into 2 loaf pans.
Let rise until double in size.
Bake in a hot oven 375 deg.for 10 mins.Turn temperature down to 350 deg.bake 25 mins.Turn out on cooling rack to cool completely.
