Chipotle Turkey Pizza

Pizza is one of my Family favorites. This recipe was thought of by having limited things in my pantry. Making pizza is always fun!

active dry yeast
3/4 c
water, warm
2 Tbsp
extra virgin olive oil
1 Tbsp
agave syrup
1 tsp
sea salt
2 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
dried oregano
1 lb
ground turkey
1 can(s)
tomato sauce
2 Tbsp
chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
1/2 Tbsp
1/2 c
cheddar cheese
1/2 c
monterey jack cheese
4 sprig(s)
cilantro chopped
1 medium
onion, diced
1 tsp
garlic powder
1 medium

Directions Step-By-Step

Dissolve the yeast in warm water. Add to food processor and combine remaining ingredients. Pulse until a ball starts to form.
3. Remove dough from the processor and dust lightly with flour. Place in a lightly floured bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Let rise until double in size, about 45 minutes.
Punch down dough. Divide dough into a ball. Adjust oven rack to upper-middle position and heat to 475° F. Using a lightly floured rolling pin, roll out each ball of dough on a floured surface about 12 inch in diameter. Using a flat tray or cookie sheet without edges, transfer directly onto the upper-middle rack.
Bake 6 minutes.
On medium high brown ground turkey, onion, garlic powder , 5min until no longer pink, Add salt & pepper to taste. Carefully remove the crust from the oven using oven mitts
In a medium Sauce pan on medium high heat combine tomato sauce, chipotle sauce & peppers, Cumin and simmer for 5 min stirring occasionally. Add salt & pepper to taste.
Spoon on tomato chipotle sauce onto crust; add ground turkey mixture spread evenly. Top the crust with desired amount of each cheese. Finish in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is completely melted.
Remove finished pizza from the oven and garnish with fresh cilantro & sliced avocado
