Bread for Bierocks

I needed a dough recipe for beirocks and this one works. I sometimes substitute 1/2 c. whole wheat flour for 1/2 c. white flour. I then add 1 tsp. gluten to the mix.
This recipe can also be used for a simple loaf of bread. Use dough cycle, shape and bake in a loaf pan at 350 degrees F. for about 40 minutes until instant read thermometer reads 200 degrees F.

Ingredients

1 c
room temperature milk

egg
1/4 c
sugar
1/4 c
butter or yellow flavoured crisco
1 tsp
salt
3 c
all purpose flour
1 Tbsp
yeast

Directions Step-By-Step

Put ingredients in order suggested by breadmaker manufacturer.
Set on dough cycle.
