Bakers sometime refer to beer as liquid bread because the yeast to make bread is the same yeast used to make beer.

Ingredients

3 c
flour
1 Tbsp
baking powder
1 tsp
salt
2 Tbsp
sugar
1 can(s)
(12 oz) beer
1/4 c
butter, melted

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 375F.

Butter loaf pan

2Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.

Add beer and melted butter to flour mixture and stir until well combined.

3The batter will be sticky.

Pour into prepared loaf pan.

Bake for 45 minutes until golden brown and a pick inserted intom the center comes out clean.

4Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove to wire rack to completely cool.
