I use my pizza cutter and bench scraper to cut and scoop up the biscuits so it's fast and easy. You can make them the classic round also, to your liking.

- baking powder

- butter - very cold
- 3/4 c
- buttermilk (or 2 tbs vinegar stirred into milk to make buttermilk)
1Mix flour, baking powder and salt together. Cut in butter. Slowly add buttermilk. Do not over mix. Dump mixture onto a flour dusted counter. Press out by hand folding dough over onto itself, alternating directions 3 or 4 times. Keep the dough squarish as you work - roughly 8x8.
2Cut the dough square with a knife or pizza cutter into 9 squares. Place in baking dish or cookie sheet, slightly touching. Bake at 425 until done (golden on top) About 15-20 minutes.
3Glaze tops with butter once they've been out of the oven for a minute or two.
