I am thumbing through my photo album which is used for my 3 X 5 index cards of recipes and Look what I just found! It's a recipe I thought I lost! This is such a fun biscuit recipe to make! And these biscuits tastes good too.


2 c
self rising flour
1 stick
butter, melted
(8 ounce) container sour cream

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease muffin tins.
Stir ingredients together just until blended. Spoon batter into muffin tins, filling about half full.
Bake for approximately 20 to 25 minutes or til lightly brown.

Oh, ok. I pulled out my muffin tin which I'd use for this recipe. I am sure when I would make this recipe, I would half fill all 12 muffin cups with the dough so it did make 12 muffin shaped biscuits.

It made 11 biscuits, but I only did half a batch. I made them small.

Ooooo... Champagne Marmalade? How interesting, Susan.

I will have to whip up some of these for my family soon. Now that I just got my daughter off and on her way to Seoul, South Korea, I may have to make a batch.

Susan, did the batch make about 12 biscuits?

Kay, I made these this morning, and they are very good. Soft and light, but have a wonderful buttery flavor. You are right, the 1 stick of butter is the answer.
I'm enjoying mine with a little Champagne Marmalade.
