apples, sweet and juicy
brown sugar, firmly packed
butter, not margarine
Slice butter in bottom of a 12' skillet.
Peel, core and quarter apples, add to skillet.
Pour in white sugar and brown sugar.
Over medium high heat bring apples to a boil stirring frequently.
Reduce heat to medium low and cook until apples are tender and juicy. Stirring frequently to prevent scorching.
Serve solo or over piping hot, fresh from the oven, homemade biscuits.
