- martha white self rising flour( hot rise )
- 1 1/4 c
- bulgarian buttermilk
- 1/2 c
- vegetable oil ( this will go in biscuits )
- 1/2 tsp
- 1 tsp
OIL IRON SKILLET WITH 1/3 CUP OF OIL
1Preheat oven to 425. Put 1/3 cup of oil in iron skillet. Heat skillet with oil on top of stove before putting biscuits in oil.
2Mix flour , salt and sugar. Make a well in center of flour mixture,add buttermilk and oil. Stir and mix well. Spoon out a heaping tablespoon onto flour in a plate .Pat and roll into a ball .Put in hot oil and flip over to oil other side . Cook for about 20 minutes or until done.
