This is a great way to make low fat Bisquick mix at home! I found this recipe a few years ago on a cooking site, posted by a member named ChefJeb. I've made it many times and it always works perfectly! I make a batch and keep it in a zip lock bag, so that its always ready when I need it for a recipe! You just add any kind of milk to moisten it...and its ready to go! I've made copycat Red Lobster biscuits with this! YUM! The photo is my own!

Ingredients

3 c
unsifted all purpose flour
1/4 c
sugar
1 c
nonfat dry milk powder
1/2 c
cornstarch
1 Tbsp
baking powder
1 tsp
baking soda
1 1/2 tsp
kosher salt

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Mix together all ingredients.
2
Store in an airtight container.
3
Use any kind of milk...low fat, skim, etc. to moisten when ready to use!

No shortening! I love it with garlic powder and cheddar cheese! Makes it taste similar to Red Lobster Cheddar Bay biscuits!
