Another wonderful Taste Of Home recipe that I pinched. This is something you can whip up on a moment's notice with ordinary ingredients in case hubby brings someone home for dinner unexpectedly. This will make any dinner special.

Ingredients

2 c
all purpose flour
2 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
baking soda
3/4 c
buttermilk
1/3 c
canola oil
2 Tbsp
minced fresh basil
2 tsp
minced fresh rosemary

Step-By-Step

1In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda. In another bowl, combine buttermilk, oil, basil and rosemary; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.

2Drop batter by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto an ungreased baking sheet.

3Bake in a preheated 450-degree oven for 10-12 minutes or until light brown. Serve warm with plenty of butter.
