I've been using this recipe for years and it's never failed me. Easy and delicious (and ever so slightly sweet!)

Ingredients

2 c
flour
1 Tbsp
baking powder
1 tsp
salt
1/3 c
shortening or butter
1/4 c
sugar (i use a liiiitle more)
1 c
milk

Step-By-Step

1Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Cut in shortening or butter until mix resembles course meal. Gradually stir in milk until dough pulls away from bowl.
2Turn out on floured surface and kneed 15-20 times. Roll and cut biscuits.

Alternatively, you can just grab spoonfuls of the mix and drop them on a baking sheet, if you don't like to roll. It works the same!
3Bake 425 for 13-15 minutes.
