- whole mushrooms
- 6 Tbsp
- 1 small
- onion, chopped
- 1/4 tsp
- garlic powder
- 3 oz
- cream cheese, softened
- 3 Tbsp
- parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbsp
- fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 c
- pepperidge farms herb seasoned stuffing mix
1Remove stems. Chop 1 cup and set aside.
2Melt 2 Tbsp. margareine and brush mushrooms caps with it. Place mushrooms top side down in a shallow baking pan.
3Heat remaining margarine. Add stems, onion and garlic powder. Cook until tender.
4Stir in cheeses and parsley. Add stuffing mix and mix lightly.
5Spoon about 1 Tbsp. of mix (depending on the size of the mushrooms) into each mushroom cap.
6Bake at 425 for 10 minutes. Enjoy!!!
7NOTE: YOU CAN USE MINCED FRESH GARLIC IF YOU WANT.
